Role Overview

Myriota is looking for a new Electronics/NPI engineer to join Myriota’s energetic and creative

engineering team. We’re looking for the right person to help us in the development and manufacture of our industry-changing IoT platform. You will play a key role in providing manufacturing inputs into the product development process and managing manufacture through our partners. You will have both strong technical expertise and the ability to thrive in an exciting startup environment.

What we’ll trust you with

  • Transition new product designs from Engineering to Manufacture
  • Provide DFM/DFT (Design for Manufacture, Design for Test) feedback into the product development process
  • Define best practice manufacturing and test processes
  • Work with contract manufacturers to coordinate prototyping and production activities
  • Continual product quality improvements through investigation of manufacturing-related issues

Skills, knowledge and experience

  • Process development, including introduction of hardware products into manufacture at local and remote contract manufacturers
  • Experience specifying and design manufacturing test fixtures
  • Experience with PFMEA, process flow, yield, 8D and similar quality processes.
  • Systems Engineering methodology (Requirements, Verification & Validation)

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience

  • Electronics design using Altium Designer
  • Firmware development in C/C++
  • Scripting experience in Python/Bash

Electronics, Mechatronics, Process or similar engineering degree or technical qualification.
