Role Overview

Myriota is looking for a new Technical Lead/Systems Engineer to join our energetic and creative Engineering team. We’re looking for the right person to help us in the development of new projects utilizing our industry-changing IoT platform. You will play a key role in ensuring we are successful in delivering our technology to customers. This will involve design and development activities from concept through to manufacture. You will have a strong technical background which will enable you to play an active role in the system design activities including scoping, requirement capture, architecture design & verification testing. Your ability to adapt to changing situations will allow you to thrive in an exciting startup environment.

What we’ll trust you with

• Scoping and planning projects for both internal and external customers
• Coordinate technical activities to achieve desired quality and schedule targets. These activities will include Architecture design, Conducting design studies & feasibility assessments, Requirements capture and review, Product verification and validation
• Perform a technical leadership role on projects
• Contribute to the Myriota Systems Engineering approach
• Continual process improvements

Skills, knowledge and experience

• Systems Engineering methodology (Requirements, Architecture, Verification & Validation)
• A strong technical background in Electronics, Embedded, Communications and/or Software Engineering
• Working with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience

• Conducting DFMEA/PFMEA reviews
• Working knowledge of defense projects

Qualifications

Electronics, Embedded, Software, Communications, Systems or similar engineering degree or technical qualification. Training in a suitable project management framework would be advantageous.
