The opportunity:

The Regional Sales Director, North America (NAM) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the company's growth across the United States and Canada. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), the role will oversee strategic initiatives, sales performance, operational excellence, and team leadership while ensuring professionalism and integrity in all endeavours.

Stuff we’ll trust you to do:

This role requires a dynamic leader to develop and execute a strategic plan aligned with global objectives in the NAM region. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills to inspire and develop the team, recruit top talent, and navigate challenges with adaptability and resilience. Emphasis is placed on achieving and exceeding revenue targets through effective sales performance, including lead generation, pipeline optimization, and accurate forecasting. Customer and stakeholder management are crucial, involving the development of strong relationships and clear communication. Operational excellence is expected through the refinement of processes and effective budget management. Upholding high ethical standards and demonstrating a strong work ethic within established guidelines are essential components of this role. You will be operating ‘at reach’ from the HQ in Australia so you need to be someone who can work to a direction without oversight.

What we’ll like about you:

The ideal candidate should have proven senior leadership experience in a comparable region or industry, a solid understanding of the NAM market landscape, a track record of driving sales and achieving results, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and preferably, knowledge of satellite technology, particularly in the satellite IoT sector, with strong presentation and webinar capabilities for trade show engagements.
