Associate - Multiple Positions Available

The Associate supports the Relationship Managers within the teams of Medfin, enabling them to focus on broader strategic priorities. You will have a strong sense of team, complemented by a deep understanding of the importance of your role in supporting the delivery of the right outcomes and balancing risk for the bank.

In this role the specialities you will assist with include: Finance for healthcare professionals, Finance for equipment and business vehicles, Practice loans Goodwill/fitout/premises/cashflow, and Vets/dentists/GPs/medical and dental specialists.

In the role of Business Banker, you will join the Business Banking Medfin team that’s doubling down on customer obsession/moving with speed/keeping it simple/owning it/winning together

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

• Prepare credit submissions, conducting financial analysis, making recommendations, and liaise with credit on transactions.
• Support transaction execution through the analysis and interpretation of financial statements/modelling, due diligence, and legal documentation.
• Be an additional point of contact for clients within the portfolio.
• Conduct research and analysis to develop industry/sector expertise and knowledge.
• Attend internal and external stakeholder meetings where appropriate to support business outcomes while managing portfolio risks.

• Credit analysis skills and a basic knowledge of financial markets products.
• Able to synthesise information from multiple sources, build and run sensitivities on financial models, identify, and synthesise key themes and communicate and influence effectively.
• Enjoy working collaboratively and building positive/authentic relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
• A proactive self-starter, a passion for detail and work accuracy together with the capability to effectively manage conflicting priorities.
• Developing business acumen.
