We're seeking motivated and innovative individuals to join us on the 2025 – 2026 Summer Intern Program. You’ll not only gain insights into the banking and finance industry, but you'll also learn more about your own working style with a personal action plan. You’ll be provided networking opportunities and career coaching to determine what you want from your career and how to achieve it.

At the end of our program, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for and potentially receive an early offer for our Graduate Program in 2027.

In this Summer Intern role, you will:

  • Gain exposure and experience in one of NAB’s 9 key core business areas
  • Be provided with networking opportunities and an individual learning plan focused on your future career goals
  • Build employability skills to compliment your studies and current experience
  • Attend structured learning and development workshops
  • Be provided with daily leadership and exposure to projects and operational work

Key Dates

Our Summer Intern Program takes place from 24 November 2025 – 30 January 2026, and during this period you’ll need to be available for full time employment. However, this period does include two weeks of unpaid leave during NAB’s Christmas shutdown period which begins on Monday 22 December up until Friday 2 January 2026.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply, you must have:

Australian or New Zealand citizenship or be an Australian Permanent Resident at the time of applying.
You’ll need to be in your second last year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree and due to complete your degree by December 2026.
