In the role of a BBM LR, you will join the Business Regional & Agri Team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.

The suitable candidate is required to travel between Gippsland, Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Use your strong commercial acumen and business banking skills to support customers by providing leave cover for bankers.
  • Work as part of a connected team to support bankers and customers right across a dedicated region reporting to local Business Banking Executive.
  • Prepare and submit for approval business lending proposals outside own authorities with full justification for recommendations, including obtaining and analysing industry and business information
  • Identify new business and referral opportunities & establish, develop and utilise networks of internal and external contacts to aid achievement of income target

  • Demonstrated experience within business banking and a desire to continue to develop your skills to progress your career
  • Comprehensive understanding of business and commercial practices with emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience
  • A commitment to strong risk culture, conduct and compliance risk
  • Strong communication, problem solving and negotiation abilities to enable collaboration with customers, business partners and stakeholders
  • A strong passion for customer service and driving customer advocacy
