In the role of Senior Consultant, Data Engineer, you will be part of our Transitional Data Platforms team doubling down on owning it.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

• Manage delivery projects in accordance with requirements and approved estimates (time/budget)
• Lead across levels, ensure their team/s are clear, capable and motivated
• Maintain delivery flow by minimising external disturbances, manage risk and remove blockers
• Maintain process documentation, induction documentation, and key metrics and reporting
• Ensure engineers within the team adhere to development guardrails, including compliance, testing, etc.
• Managing trusting, inclusive squads, track results, and provide clear follow-up and feedback
• Ensuring the quality of the code delivered to production meets expectations
• Supporting solutions built by the NDH team in production and managing velocity of level 3 support (within SLAs)

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

• In-depth knowledge of data model under Finance, Risk and Treasury domain, AWS Services (Redshift, EC2, Informatica, S3 and IAM) & Databricks.
• Strong understanding of Data Architecture, Data modelling and Data Platforms
• Experience in leading and delivering complex designs across Finance Risk and Treasury space
• Experience in communicating with and influencing peers and stakeholders
• Strong delivery focus with an active approach to quality and auditability
• Ability to influence, lead and motivate others
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting & documentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and excel within a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Ability to self-manage tasks
• Agile software development practices
• Leadership qualities and skills
• Ability to speak to data engineers across the teams and support them.
