In the role of Senior Audit Manager (Technology Modernisation), you will report to the Head of Technology Audits that’s doubling down on customer obsession and winning together.
In this role, you will go above and beyond to:
- Strengthen audit’s focussed oversight of the Technology Modernisation activities within NAB across all business domains by ongoing review and assessment.
- To provide deep, forward-looking assessment and insights of current and emerging technology risks, through close engagement with senior technology and business leaders to validate alignment of Technology Modernisation with enterprise priorities.
- To lead and execute targeted risk-assessments, audits, and Issue Verifications to assess effective mitigation of Modernisation risks through close interaction with Heads of Audit and peers.
- To participate in Technology, Security, and Integrated audits to evaluate and assess effectiveness of key Technology, Security, and Governance controls over the risks applicable to the NAB’s Information Systems.
- Establish as a dependable Subject Matter Expert between stakeholders and Audit, by providing value-added independent risk opinions to business leadership.
- 8-10 years of experience with medium or large-scale financial organisations in one or more of the following:
- Operating in a key role to manage Core IT systems (infrastructure or applications); especially in managing IT-workload or data migrations, application modernisation or rationalisation programs, or vendor-migrations
- Conducting risk-based or industry-certification audits of the activities listed earlier.
- Overall demonstrated experience in domains such as legacy and advanced IT infrastructure and/or applications including Mainframe and Midrange systems, business managed applications, Data Centre processes, IT General Controls and Governance Frameworks, Internet and Mobile applications, Middleware, APIs; cloud-based environments and technologies such as CI/CD pipelines, DevOps/DevSecOps practices, Artificial Intelligence; as well as good awareness of applicable cybersecurity processes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology required. Candidates holding industry certifications i.e. PMP, CISA, CISSP, AWS or Azure preferred.
