This is a hands-on, hightrust role for someone who thrives in complexity, spots stories early and brings clarity where others see noise. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to turn realworld business insight into sharp, credible communications that build trust with customers, media and the community.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Act as a trusted communications adviser to Executives and their leadership teams, with the confidence to guide, challenge and influence.

  • Own and drive proactive external storytelling across media, speeches and social channels, using insight and judgement to set the agenda.

  • Stay close to what’s really happening in the economy, ensuring NAB’s commentary is grounded, relevant and credible.

  • Collaborate across Business & Private Bank, Corporate Affairs and Marketing to align effort and maximise impact.

  • Lead communications for key business portfolios and senior leaders, with clear ownership and accountability.

  • Identify and manage reputational risk early, responding at pace when issues arise and protecting trust in NAB.

  • Spot opportunities to engage colleagues and work with peers to deliver communications that land.
