In the role of Senior Consultant, Vendor and Contract Governance you will lead the coordination, governance and performance management of PEB’s vendor ecosystem, ensuring processes run smoothly, consistently and to a high standard.

This role is all about driving disciplined process governance, maintaining structured vendor and contract oversight, and providing clear insights that support confident executive decision-making. You will ensure vendor performance routines, contract management processes, financial reporting and governance activities are executed with precision.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Manage the end-to-end vendor and contract governance process, ensuring compliance, performance and reporting routines are delivered accurately and consistently.

  • Coordinate contract, renewal, compliance and risk processes, ensuring documentation, timelines and governance expectations are met.

  • Drive structured cost management processes including budgeting, forecasting, variance tracking and risk identification, supporting financial transparency and discipline.

  • Deliver high-quality reporting and analytics on vendor and contract performance, exposures, spend and governance outcomes.

  • Provide insights on value leakage, vendor efficiency and opportunities for uplift to support decision ready recommendations for senior leaders.

  • Lead well organised vendor and contract governance forums, shaping agendas, synthesising stakeholder input, tracking actions and ensuring follow through.

  • Partner with Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Risk and Compliance to ensure alignment with enterprise frameworks while effectively managing PEB specific processes

  • Support capability uplift by providing guidance to Consultants and Analysts across the vendor management and governance function

What you will bring:

  • Strong commercial acumen and a process driven mindset, with exceptional attention to detail and governance discipline.

  • Experience in vendor management, contract governance, commercial management or business process roles within large, complex environments.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, manage governance routines and maintain high-quality documentation.

  • Ability to interpret complex financial or vendor data and present insights clearly to senior stakeholders.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or equivalent, with postgraduate qualifications preferred.
