An exciting opportunity to join NAB’s Marketing Planning & Operations function, playing a pivotal role in shaping how marketing plans, prioritises and delivers at an enterprise level.

This role sits at the heart of Group Marketing, partnering closely with the Marketing Leadership Team (MLT) and senior stakeholders to drive clarity, alignment and execution discipline across priorities, plans and investment. You will help ensure marketing operates with pace, confidence and impact, translating strategic ambition into practical operating rhythms, governance and delivery.

As Senior Consultant, Marketing Planning, you will act as a trusted partner to marketing leaders, enabling high quality decision making through strong planning, financial insight, and performance transparency.

This is a high impact role for someone who thrives in complexity, brings structure where ambiguity exists, and is motivated by helping senior leaders move faster and more effectively.

Our people are customer obsessed. They prioritise the needs and satisfaction of the customer above all else. Our mindset fosters innovation and creates strong, lasting customer relationships as we strive to be the most customer centric company in Australia and New Zealand.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Drive cross enterprise marketing planning, embed annual end to end marketing planning rhythms, including prioritisation, sequencing, capacity and dependencies

  • Ensure alignment between strategy, plans, budgets and delivery across portfolios

  • Shape MLT agenda, insight and forums, own executive level reporting and insights, planning forums and key governance cadences

  • Frame issues, options and trade offs clearly to support confident decision making

  • Partner closely with Finance to strengthen visibility of spend, commitments, forecasts and investment choices

  • Exceptional problem solving and structuring skills, able to bring clarity to complex or ambiguous situations

  • Ability to manage multiple priority initiatives, balancing pace with quality and rigour

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Deep understanding of marketing operations, with demonstrated experience

  • Skilled in mapping, analysing, and improving business processes

  • Ability to see the big picture, connect dots across functions, and design scalable solutions

  • Strong communicator, experience leading change and gaining buy-in at all levels

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with structured delivery approaches and outcome focus

  • Able to confidently articulate customer and commercial impact

  • Experienced Marketing professional (at least 5 years)
