In the role ofConsultant, Deposits Product Development, you will report to the Manager, Deposits Product Development and play a key role in shaping and delivering NAB’s deposits growth strategy. You’ll support the development of compelling deposit propositions and product functionality that meet customer needs, strengthen competitiveness and deliver commercial outcomes.

This role sits at the heart of deposits strategy and execution, combining product thinking, commercial analysis and cross functional delivery. You’ll represent the customer voice while helping ensure NAB’s deposit products remain relevant, compliant and market‑leading.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Support the shaping and delivery of the deposits growth strategy and initiative roadmap aligned to NAB’s strategic priorities.
  • Develop commercial cases for new propositions, product enhancements and features, engaging delivery teams to bring ideas to market.
  • Analyse market trends across customer behaviour, competitor offerings, pricing and distribution to inform tactical and strategic initiatives.
  • Benchmark NAB’s deposit products against the market and identify opportunities to uplift experience, functionality and competitiveness.
  • Represent the voice of the customer when shaping product propositions, ensuring solutions deliver meaningful value and strong outcomes.
  • Partner with Digital, Distribution, Marketing, Risk, Operations and Technology teams to support end-to-end delivery of initiatives.
  • Ensure deposit propositions meet regulatory, legal, policy and compliance requirements and support effective risk management.
  • Track performance across key metrics including balance sheet, P&L, customer experience and risk indicators.

What you will bring:

  • Experience working in strategy, product management, transactional banking or deposits related environments.
  • Exposure to initiative shaping, project delivery and portfolio or performance analysis.
  • Strong commercial mindset, with the ability to balance customer value with business outcomes.
  • Appetite for learning and growth, with a proactive and delivery focused mindset.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capability and experience developing insights from portfolio or performance data.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams in a fast paced, complex environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, finance, business, strategy, management, project management or equivalent.
