As a manager, nabtrade Asian Desk you will join the Private Wealth team to play a pivotal role in establishing and driving the growth of nabtrade Ultra for Asian clients—particularly Chinese-speaking high-net-worth (HNW/UHNW) investors.
This is a unique leadership opportunity combining investment expertise, cultural fluency, and strategic relationship management to build a differentiated, premium client offering.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

Establish and lead the nabtrade Asian UHNW Desk strategy

Drive acquisition, engagement, and retention of Asian HNW/UHNW clients

Deliver tailored, culturally aligned investment solutions, client experiences and events

Design and deliver targeted client events and insights

Collaborate across NAB Private Wealth and connect to specialist services

Monitor performance, drive growth, and ensure compliance standards are met
We’re looking for the brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

Proven experience in financial services (equities, wealth, private banking, or markets), with strong exposure to HNW/UHNW clients

Demonstrated success in client acquisition, relationship management, and growing premium client portfolios

Strong investment knowledge across products such as equities, fixed income, FX, and margin lending
-
Ability to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives within a wealth or trading environment
-
Cultural fluency and experience engaging Asian client segments (Mandarin highly preferred)
-
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to collaborate across banking, wealth, and specialist teams
-
Commercial acumen with a performance-driven mindset and ability to deliver measurable business outcomes

Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Economics or similar, with RG146 / AFMA Tier 1 accreditation preferred
