In this Senior Consultant, CSDA Portfolio Lead, you will join our Data and Analytics team doubling down by owning it and winning together.
Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to support with:
- Lead and develop a portfolio of work, including the day-to-day activities of team members (data & analytic professionals within the portfolio) to design and develop actionable insights (analytic, data science, data management and/or reporting) that make a positive and demonstrable impact to the Customer and Colleague Analytics strategy and performance.
- Partner with business leaders to ensure alignment between analytics outputs and overall business objectives
- Oversee the integrity and quality of data used in analytics, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks.
- Collaborate with the engineering, reporting and wider teams to help realise analytic assets.
- Assist in strategy and lead planning to set priorities for work in the portfolio. The application of agile methodologies and related tools.
- Follow enterprise and industry best practice for model development, monitoring and management lifecycles.
- Contribute towards the Customer Services strategy at NAB that is; customer-centric; efficient, timely; transparent; and comprehensive.
- Practical understanding of the way in which Business Lending / Business Banking customers are managed at a bank and how this manifest as data.
- Knowledge of Banking regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g. APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC) is preferred
- Professional experience in the Predictive Analytics or Data Science domains.
- Experience with review and challenge in an analytical setting.
- Substantial experience (direct involvement preferred) in the governance and management of predictive models (Model Risk Management).
- Exposure and use of coding in a database setting (SQL), analytic or scripting (e.g. SAS, Python), and/or a reporting environment (e.g. PowerBI). An appreciation for which tools work in which settings is important.
- Financial industry experience (in Banking, Insurance, Superannuation, or similar) is required in addition to good grasp of the regulatory and industry landscapes. This includes evolving privacy and ethics principles.
