In the role of Product Manager, you will play a critical role in maximising the value of NAB’s product suite for customers. You’ll bring deep expertise in your product area, ensuring strong customer outcomes while balancing commercial performance, risk, compliance and regulatory obligations.

You’ll work across the domain to shape and manage product strategy, ensuring products are competitive, compliant and aligned to customer needs. This is a highly visible role where you’ll partner closely with stakeholders across Product, Risk, Technology, Operations and Distribution to drive product performance and deliver continuous improvement.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Own and continuously evolve the product value proposition, ensuring alignment to customer needs, market expectations and business strategy.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Product Owners, Technology, Risk and Operations to prioritise and deliver product enhancements and initiatives.
  • Manage product risk and compliance, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations, internal frameworks and industry requirements.
  • Provide data‑driven insights to inform product decisions, balancing customer outcomes, risk appetite and commercial performance.
  • Lead responses to product‑related queries, incidents and regulatory engagements, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Oversee third‑party relationships, including vendor performance, contract management and service level outcomes.
  • Monitor product performance through key metrics, customer feedback, complaints and event management to drive ongoing improvement.
  • Support go‑to‑market activities, ensuring strong customer adoption, onboarding and experience across channels.

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience in product management within financial services or a similar regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of risk, compliance and regulatory frameworks, with the ability to manage products within these constraints.
  • Strong customer‑centric mindset, with an understanding of customer experience and value drivers.
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to balance profitability, performance and risk outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capability, with experience using data to generate insights and support decision‑making.
  • Excellent stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence across business, technology and risk teams.
  • Strong problem‑solving capability, with the ability to navigate complexity and respond to issues effectively.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, economics, science or a related discipline (preferred).
