As the Product Owner, 12 month fixed term contract, you will be part of People & Culture (P&C) team, that is doubling down on customer obsession.
Each Day, You’ll Go Above And Beyond To
- Represent the voice of the colleague and support the Know Your Colleague program, this includes interpreting the program requirements in team to achieve key deliverables.
- Lead the design, delivery and uplift of Pre-Employment probity strategy, framework and process within the risk and compliance frameworks in People & Culture.
- Ensure the detailed delivery of the Pre-Employment probity strategy and framework within the Know Your Colleague program through comprehensive planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting across the assigned initiatives.
- Influence outcomes through subject‑matter expertise, delivery leadership and stakeholder collaboration.
- Own delivery artefacts including plans, schedules, logs, dependency maps, and status reports and drive preparation of high‑quality governance materials for forums and Steering Committees.
- Define, refine and prioritise the business outcome/ epic backlog based on quantified value and strategic outcomes and engage key stakeholders to gather feedback, remove roadblocks & implement change.
- Actively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and impacts, ensuring early intervention and ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance across delivery activities.
- Demonstrated in-depth experience working in as a Product Owner, within a large-scale business lead program for a complex organisation preferably within a highly regulated environment.
- Solid understanding of audit or assurance frameworks and processes within highly regulated environments is preferred
- Strong customer empathy and ability to use customer feedback and data insights to guide the product roadmap decisions and solutions to re-image and uplift pre-employment probity processes.
- Experience working with agile ways or working and familiarity with human centred design techniques.
- Ability to create and convey a vision to key stakeholders and teams, developing it into a shaped backlog of key features, user stories and goals in line with Domain cadence.
- Comfortable in a leadership role, including leading workshops through the discovery, development and operational usage stages of development.
- Proven analytical skills and evidence-based decision making coupled with strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
