In the role of Director, Investment Specialist, you will join the NAB Private Wealth team, where your expertise will play a critical role in supporting high-value clients with tailored investment solutions. You’ll thrive in an environment where your market insight, commercial acumen and ability to build trusted relationships delivers meaningful outcomes for both clients and the broader franchise.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

• Build and manage a portfolio of high-value clients, delivering revenue, profitability and risk outcomes.
• Act as a trusted adviser (general advice), providing tailored investment solutions and risk management strategies, aligned to client needs and market conditions.
• Originate and convert opportunities, maintaining a strong and sustainable pipeline.
• Partner closely with bankers, product and trading teams to deliver integrated client outcomes.
• Leverage market insight, product expertise and client engagement to identify growth opportunities.
• Operate with strong risk discipline, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal frameworks.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

• Significant experience (typically 10 -15+years) in financial markets, investments or wealth advisory.
• A strong track record of managing and growing senior client relationships.
• Deep technical expertise across investment products and market dynamics.
• Proven ability to originate, structure and execute complex transactions.
• Strong commercial judgement and understanding of risk, governance and regulatory frameworks.
• A growth mindset, with the ability to collaborate and contribute to a high-performing team.
• Strong tertiary qualifications in Finance, Economics, Commerce or related discipline: postgraduate qualification (e.g. CFA, MBA or equivalent) highly regarded.
