As the Consultant, Health Management, you will be part of the People & Culture team, that’s doubling down on winning together.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Provide strategic advice, coaching and case management to colleagues and People Leaders to support injury, illness, disability and workplace adjustment needs, ensuring safe and sustainable outcomes.
  • Proactively manage a caseload of physical, psychological and disability‑related health matters, including coordinating rehabilitation and occupational provider services where required.
  • Operate as a Rehabilitation Delegate under the SRC Act, ensuring all advice and interventions comply with legislative, regulatory and Comcare self‑insurance licence obligations.
  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to identify and manage physical and psychosocial risks, supporting early intervention, prevention and best‑practice risk management approaches.
  • Collaborate across Health, Safety & Wellbeing and People & Culture teams to deliver consistent, high‑quality, scalable and cost‑effective health management and rehabilitation services.
  • Use data and specialist insight to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance colleague wellbeing and service delivery.
  • Support the delivery and continuous improvement of NAB’s Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy, frameworks and processes to meet legislative obligations and achieve effective, trusted outcomes for colleagues and the organisation.

We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar Health Management Consultant role with experience in Occupational Rehabilitation environment (or similar).
  • Experience in workers compensation under State based legislation or Comcare.
  • Exceptional influencing, negotiation and communication skills along with the ability to collaborate across stakeholders at all levels, promoting a culture of accountability and transparency.
  • Strong execution discipline and service mindset that ensures effective and efficient delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism, leveraging document management systems to uphold integrity and security.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in coordinating support for complex physical/ psychological injuries (work and non-work related) and disability workplace adjustments.
  • Sound understanding of risk management frameworks including for psychosocial risks.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Allied Health such as Psychology (including Organisational Psychology), Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Ex Physiology, Social Work, and AHPRA or associate body registration
