In the role of Senior Associate, you will join the Deal Structure and Execution – Emerging corporate and diversified team that’s doubling down on customer obsession.
Each day, you will go above and beyond to:
- Provide support to Associate Director DS&E and Relationship Teams.
- Provide financial and risk analysis, with detailed complex lending submissions of high quality.
- Ensure that all group exposures have been accurately assessed, with support from Associate Director DS&E as required.
- Ensure that a commercial approach is evident, to protect both clients and the Bank.
- Gather the correct and appropriate information from customers and the Relationship Team.
- Assist Relationship Team, Customer at discussion stage to put together structures, facilities, term sheets/NDA’s
- Prepare end-to-end credit submissions and client assessments.
- Hold Delegated Commitment Authority (DCA) and jointly approve or support submissions to Credit, escalating where required.
- Maintain DCA through completion of mandatory and ongoing training.
- Participate in customer and relationship team meetings.
- Coach and mentor Associates and Relationship Teams on complex transactions and financial analysis.
- Conduct industry and market research to provide customer and sector insights.
- Proactively manage risk and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and complete relationship-related tasks for bankers and customers.
- Support revenue growth and profitability through effective pricing and credit structuring.
- Monitor portfolio risks, identify early warning signs, and respond to market or industry changes.
- Partner closely with Associate Directors, Relationship Teams, and Credit stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including Regional Customer Executives, Managing Partners, Business Bank Executives, bankers, Credit, and specialist teams.
