In the role of Senior Associate, you will work closely with our Economics and Markets Research team, contributing to key business priorities and continuously improving how we serve our customers.

You’ll make an impact each day by:

  • Supporting the development of timely, client-focused research across Australian corporate credit markets, combining market analysis, credit valuation, issuer research and investment strategy

  • Analyse of market developments, valuation trends, market technicals, economic conditions and issuer fundamentals to help form investment recommendations

  • Contribute to recurring and thematic research publications, including maintaining valuation frameworks, datasets, analytical models and research content

  • Monitor spreads, yields, curves, primary issuance, orderbooks, pricing outcomes and secondary market liquidity to identify relative-value and trade opportunities

  • Develop, maintain and automate analytical tools, dashboards, charts and research processes using platforms such as Bloomberg, Macrobond, Excel, Cursor or similar tools.

You’ll bring to this role:

  • Strong understanding of corporate credit and broader financial markets, with the ability to interpret market developments and contextualise risks and opportunities

  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, well-structured research and translate complex data into concise, actionable investment insights

  • Strong credit analysis, financial modelling and quantitative capability, including experience working with large financial datasets and valuation frameworks

  • Experience from credit research, fixed income, debt capital markets, syndication, origination, equity research, credit ratings, investment strategy or a related financial markets environment

  • Comfortable using market data, analytics, visualisation or automation tools, ideally Bloomberg, Macrobond, Excel, Cursor or comparable platforms
