A specialist role focused on helping NAB support First Nations economic empowerment and prosperity.

You will work across the bank on significant economic priorities, with meaningful ownership, exposure to senior leaders and the opportunity to build broader leadership capability over time.

You’ll make an impact each day by:

  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to turn complex issues into clear briefs, papers, communications and recommendations.

  • Strong commercial experience and judgement, with an understanding of customers, markets and how to turn economic opportunities into viable business pathways.

  • An understanding of First Nations economic development and where financing, products, partnerships or other business levers can create value.

  • Strong data and reporting capability, including managing performance information, tracking commitments and communicating progress clearly.

  • Strong relationship and influencing skills, with the confidence to work across different parts of the bank and with external stakeholders.

  • Strong leadership potential, with the judgement, confidence and curiosity to take increasing ownership of complex enterprise-wide work overtime.

You’ll bring to this role:

  • Identify and progress First Nations economic opportunities across NAB.

  • Manage measurement and reporting for key First Nations economic commitments.

  • Develop high-quality strategic advice and communications for senior stakeholders.

  • Connect people and expertise across the bank to move priorities from idea to delivery.

  • Bring First Nations customer, business and community perspectives into strategy and decision-making.
