The Role
Reporting to our Head of People Operations, you will be managing the full payroll cycle for our permanent and casual staff members across 6 countries and support compensation and benefits projects and programs at the HQ level.
What you'll do:
- Preparation and coordination of timely and accurate payroll for employees and casual workers, through in house payroll systems and outsourced vendors
- Liaison with operations team and verification of weekly attendance including overtime, leave records and payroll adjustment or rectify any discrepancy.
- Preparation and submission of monthly payroll reports to Finance, manpower costs and related reports for management review
- Prepare and submit statutory contributions (CPF, IR8A, Superannuation, KiwiSaver, 五险一金, etc) and claims (NS pay, government paid leave schemes, workcover) and other tax related matters
- Maintenance of time management and payroll systems (eg. Tanda, Xero)
- Handle Tax clearance (IRAS - IR21) and claims focal point – WICA, Insurance, Medical, Government paid leave and respond to queries
- Well-versed in MOM work passes applications, cancellation, appeal matters and assist with EP/SP application/issuance/renewal
- Maintain proper payroll related documentation and support with external auditors when required
- Support compensation review, pay reviews, increment, promotion, bonus exercises and handle benefits administration
- Handle queries from employees on payroll related matters.
- Perform C&B projects and work with local Business Partners to advise C&B policies
What you'll need:
- Minimum 3 years payroll experience for at least 2 countries globally
- Strong knowledge of statutory and compliance requirements with respect to payroll management
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- High level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
- Experience in reviewing and improving payroll processes and systems
- Self-motivated, strong work ethics with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
