We’re on a digital journey, and we’re looking for a curious, collaborative, and technical Business Analyst to own our internal systems and help us deliver high quality outcomes for all stakeholders.
What you’ll do
As a Technical Business Analyst, who’s passionate about driving innovation and unlocking the potential of modern digital tools you’ll work in a cross-functional capacity across our digital teams, with a primary focus on enhancing and optimising NZTE’s internal apps and platforms. You’ll play a key role in evaluating new AI offerings and identifying opportunities to streamline processes, drive innovation, and deliver value for our people.
Your impact will include:
- Using your analytical expertise to uncover, articulate and validate business challenges, opportunities and solutions for our internal systems.
- Diving deeply into workflows and processes, collaborating with stakeholders to design smarter, more efficient ways of working.
- Evaluating and recommending new tools, features and technologies to continuously enhance our internal systems and implement improvements
- Building strong trusted relationships between digital and data technical teams, Stakeholders and vendors to translate technical concepts to ensure smooth end to end delivery.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience working cross-functionally across digital teams and business units
- 5+ years’ business analysis experience, with strong understanding of internal systems (ServiceNow experience a bonus)
- Interest in evaluating and implementing new AI tools
- Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable insights and communicate at all levels
- Passion for optimising processes and systems and delivering customer-centric solutions
- Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt approach based on project needs
- Familiarity with the end-to-end lifecycle of system development, including design, build, testing, deployment, and support
- Skill in process documentation, business case development, and supporting decision-making
