This role is based in our Wellington NZTE office.

An amazing opportunity to join the NZTE Wellington based Export Customer team has come up within our Tech & Services team.
What you’ll be doing
You will be joining the Manufacturing, Infrastructure, and Tech & Services team, working predominantly with companies in the technology and service sectors of varying sizes. Key tasks include partnering with leadership teams to define export goals, creating growth plans, identifying opportunities and challenges, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring your customers are supported throughout their export journey.
What you’ll need to be successful:
· Strong knowledge and networks within NZ's Tech & Services sector, ideally with SaaS and/or games development
· Experience operating in export markets
· Strategic and commercial awareness, analytical skills, customer focus, digital fluency, strong collaboration, and a results-driven mindset
· Advantageous: Connections in Wellington’s tech start-up/business community
· Networking skills required.
· Apply strategic and commercial expertise to match customer needs and business growth stages.
· Advise customers and maintain professional relationships, offering guidance and feedback as needed.
· Use digital tools and data skills to support NZTE objectives and stay current with tech trends.
· Collaborate with team members, participate in strategic projects, coordinate with external providers, and offer guidance.
