They will possess the passion, the hustle, drive and proven experience to increase Ordermentum’s market share, revenue and profitability across small to mid tier accounts in Queensland and support the management of Key Accounts prospects.
What you will do:
- Meet and exceed Ordermentum’s SME account sales’ goals for Queensland through owning and managing the SME account acquisition sales cycle from prospecting to deal closures
- Canvas key strategic players (Wholesalers, Distributors and industry groups) across our core and new emerging categories to develop robust pipelines across Queensland.
- Work collaboratively with the National Key Account & Mid Tier Sales Managers to source and manage Key Accounts through the Sales Cycle.
- Work collaboratively with our Product Technology and Customer Service teams to scope effective integration solutions to meet the needs of Queensland suppliers.
- Be seen as a respected and trusted business partner as you build strong networks by attending industry events, trade shows and keeping abreast of industry trends, and have a deep understanding of your customers’ business challenges and opportunities
- Develop annual SME account acquisition territory plans for metro and regional Queensland and quarterly forecasts driven from the analysis of sales, customer and market data
- Be the Supplier’s voice in all internal meetings, sharing key insights and emerging requirements with cross functional leads
You will have:
- 5+ years experience in Sales within the Hospitality industry (desirable);
- Is located in Metro Queensland (Brisbane preferable).
- Sound knowledge of Saas solutions (desirable) and a strong existing network in Queensland.
- An entrepreneurial spirit for driving strong revenue growth and hitting and exceeding financial goals.
- A flair in fostering effective working relationships, quickly building rapport and engagement amongst Business owners and cross functional leads to develop long-term trusted partnerships and deliver best in-class solutions to your customers
- Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach to identifying key challenges and finding solutions
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with Product and technical teams to contribute to the creation of technical solutions to support complex processes and system integrations
- Proficiency in CRM to accurately and consistently forecast sales activity in a timely manner
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking that enables you to use industry and supplier trends analysis to deliver business results and identify key sales opportunities
- A genuine desire to support and collaborate with other team members and share insights and best practices
