Christchurch, New Zealand
Posted on Tuesday, July 2, 2024

Note: Partly is headquartered in Christchurch. This intern role is based in Christchurch, New Zealand, and candidates must have the right to live and work in the country. At those time we can not consider applications from outside NZ and Australia.

🚀 Our story

Partly's mission is to connect the world's parts and we're doing that by building the first global platform for replacement parts, starting with auto parts. Our big vision is to accelerate the world towards a sustainable future where waste is eliminated and all replacement parts are universally searchable, accessible and available to all.

Founded by ex-Rocket Lab engineers, we utilise cutting-edge technology to solve challenging but exciting problems that make a huge impact in a $1.9 trillion industry. We've more than tripled our team over the last 12 months and expect to double in size again over the coming 12 months. We're a global team spanning both Europe and Australasia.

We provide a scalable digital infrastructure solution to some of the world's largest businesses and the most exciting startups. Partly's solutions are integrated across hundreds of companies globally, providing the backbone for cataloguing and managing parts online.

Our investors in Blackbird Ventures (Canva, CultureAmp etc.), Square Peg, Octopus Ventures, Hillfarrance, Icehouse, Peter Beck (Rocket Lab), Akshay Kothari (Notion Co-Founder) and Dylan Field (Figma Co-Founder).

We're continuing to build a world-class team and ensuring Partly is a place where people can do the best work of their lives. We're proud of the culture we've built at Partly, and our values are lived throughout every experience.

Reporting to the Dismantler Commerce team, your project scope will be wide and varied, providing you with exceptional learning opportunities that can be applied practically to your chosen career path. You will gain hands-on experience and lead proactive R&D into the perfect customer experience for different automotive part types, jobs, and industry segments; informing data requirements for customers. You will also develop your project management skills by working on various projects simultaneously.

  • Take a strategic view of what customers to target by analysing industry and sales data. Participate in strategy development sessions; contributing innovative ideas and approaches that promote the growth and success of the Partly Platform in the marketplace.

  • Lead client presentations and discussions, understand the customer’s business requirements and work directly with customers effectively communicating the technical aspects, benefits and feasibility of our solutions to various stakeholders including non-technical audiences.

  • Scope, develop, and implement user-centric solutions that harness the power of the Partly Platform; delivering outstanding results in a way that maximises the success of the customer throughout a smooth onboarding journey.

  • Work closely with the Engineering team, providing well-defined requirements and guidelines to develop industry leading products. Engage with the customer in rigorous testing phases to iterate; ensuring that solutions align with the established criteria and providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
