🖍️ This role

The Software Engineer - Data Extraction will be based remotely and report to Tim (Engineering Director).

This role will play a pivotal part in the Data Extraction team building parsers, working with extracting data from self-contained databases and analyzing & structuring large amounts of data.

💻 What will you do

• Uncover relationships in unstructured data. Understand the encoding and structure of datasets and be able to represent the contents in a normalized format.

• Build Parsers.

• Analyze and structure large amounts of data by debugging how the data is currently interpreted.

🥷 Your skills

• Strong knowledge of Python.

• Strong knowledge of one or more low-level programming languages such as C.

• Experience with SQLite, Postgres, and similar databases.

• Proficient with file formats, encodings, and self-contained databases.

• (Preferred) Experience in reverse engineering.
