One of our early-stage B2B SaaS portfolio companies has developed a proprietary AI-driven defect-detection system for the manufacturing industry, and after several succesful integrations with market leaders, they are now looking for a Sales Manager/Head of Sales to join the business to drive all commercial activity in the region.
Responsibilities
- Work with Founders to go from 3 to 20 customers
- Work closely with product marketing and product teams to align marketing and sales
- Design an end-to-end Sales process specifically for the manufacturing ecosystem
- Lead by example by driving everything from lead qualification, pitching, negotiating, closing, and retaining
- As the process develops, build a small team around you eventually
- Ensure the team's objectives are aligned with business strategy
Qualifications
- At least 10+ years of sales experience is preferred
- At least 5+ years of SaaS sales experience
- Regional sales experience across manufacturing hubs like Taiwan, Malaysia would be an advantage
- Prior experience selling into manufacturing businesses is an advantage
- Technology or Start-up experience
- Proactive and hustler mentality
- Ability to work in ambiguous and vague environments and drive activity independently
