We're seeking a highly experienced and passionate Head of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering team. You'll be responsible for the overall technical vision and strategy of our dating app, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to build and manage high-performing engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a growing team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Develop and execute the engineering roadmap, aligning it with the company's overall product strategy.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our dating app's backend infrastructure.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our platform.
• Implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
• Manage the engineering budget and resources effectively.
• Contribute to the overall technical strategy of the company.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience building and managing high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong technical background in backend development, cloud infrastructure, and mobile technologies.
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with scaling and maintaining high-traffic applications.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Passion for building innovative and engaging user experiences.
• Experience in social networking industry is a plus.
