Responsibilities:
• Develop and define the business development strategy, identify and pursue
new client opportunities, focusing on expanding SUNRATE's portfolio in the
APAC region.
• Actively assist in closing deals while managing your own sales quota.
• Lead, coach, and manage a growing team within the Ecommerce and B2B
verticals.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to enhance the sales process and
drive performance improvements.
• Serve as the first layer of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and risk control
functions, working alongside the compliance team to ensure thorough
Know Your Customer (KYC) checks and other necessary compliance
activities.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in Sales or Business
Development.
• Strong industry knowledge or experience in Ecommerce, cross-border
payments, and commercial cards is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in engaging and pitching to small, medium, or
enterprise customers.
• Proven ability to implement sales frameworks and methodologies that drive
team improvements.
• A track record of effective cross-functional collaboration, partnering with
various internal and external teams across the organization.
• A resilient, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive for success,
particularly within a start-up environment.
