One of our Series-A portfolio companies selling into Robotics and Robotics Dev Tools companies is seeing rapid growth and with a new product launch, they need a Growth and Community Lead to help drive the launch.
Responsibilities
- 80% Community & Growth / 20% GTM Strategy
- Drive zero-to-one developer adoption focusing on usage metrics and community "love" over immediate revenue
- Architect and execute the GTM motion for an open-source or freemium model targeting the global robotics ecosystem
- Build and seed communities across robotics R&D teams, academic labs, and hobbyist circles
- Lead "viral" growth tactics, including high-engagement social presence, developer meetups, and technical events
- Define success metrics from scratch, prioritizing North Star adoption targets and user retention
Qualifications
- Experience in Growth, Developer Relations (DevRel), or Community Management
- Proven ability to launch technical products from a standstill, ideally within the developer tool or open-source space
- Experimental and "hacker" mindset with a track record of figuring out GTM motions without a pre-existing playbook
- Strong presence in technical communities (Twitter, Discord, GitHub, or Reddit) with the ability to speak the language of engineers
- Data-driven approach to adoption, with experience tying community activities to measurable usage growth
