Job Overview
We’re seeking a Data Engineer to design and operate high-reliability pipelines and infrastructure across AWS and Databricks. You’ll focus on ingestion, orchestration, observability, and automation, embedding agentic patterns like AI copilots.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Databricks, and data contracts/testing.
- Operational mindset — automation-first, “you build it, you run it” philosophy, and deep familiarity with IAM, CI/CD, and observability.
- Bonus: exposure to LLM/agentic ops, CDC tooling, or FinOps for data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and run scalable data ingestion and orchestration pipelines (batch, streaming, CDC) across AWS/Databricks.
- Embed agentic automation into operations — self-healing workflows, AI-assisted triage, and observability by default.
- Ensure reliability, quality, and cost efficiency — SLAs, lineage, contracts, and FinOps for predictable performance.
- Partner cross-functionally with Data Science, AI, and Security to maintain a trusted, compliant, and scalable data platform.
