The role
As a senior leader reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll play a key role in shaping and driving Prospa's brand through innovative communication and campaign strategies. Your mission will be to boost digital leads, meet product goals, and build strong relationships across sales, product, and leadership teams. You’ll manage both paid and earned media channels, overseeing strategies and budgets for paid search and media while steering a successful marketing program for our crucial intermediary partners. To excel in this role, you’ll need to bring proven leadership, creativity, and expertise in performance marketing, along with a flair for crafting compelling messages across various channels. Your passion and energy will inspire your team to thrive in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
What you’ll will be doing
- Help attract and grow customers in Australia and New Zealand by collaborating with Marketing, Sales, Product teams, and external agencies.
- Create and manage marketing strategies for our partners to drive transactions with Prospa.
- Run and improve ongoing and campaign-based programs using customer feedback and past results.
- Manage paid search ads to ensure they are cost-effective.
- Oversee content, social media, and PR strategies.
- Maintain and enhance the website to reflect the brand well and improve performance, including new designs and monitoring for better results.
- Handle SEO for key website pages to boost organic search, maintain brand consistency, and ensure accurate content.
- Develop creative initiatives that align with Prospa’s brand and improve acquisition performance.
- Track, analyse, and report on campaigns to boost performance and growth.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Legal teams to create effective messaging.
- Plan and place campaigns based on customer insights and data for effective media placement.
- Keep an eye on competitors to ensure Prospa stands out.
- Manage budgets for digital search, media, campaign development, creative work, and agency fees.
- Work with the Marketing Director to oversee agency relationships, ensuring quality and value.
- Lead and motivate the team to ensure high-quality work, satisfaction, and growth.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven ability to inspire, influence and drive outcomes across the business and within the team.
- Proven experience in digital marketing with a focus on growth, business outcomes, and brand awareness.
- Proven experience managing integrated marketing programs, including ATL and digital media.
- Skilled in creating customer insight-driven briefs and collaborating with internal and external agencies on creative projects.
- Experienced in content development and social strategies to boost brand engagement and website traffic.
- Some experience with PR as part of an integrated messaging strategy is preferred.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent at managing stakeholders, including executives, product teams, sales, and marketing.
- Strong communicator with experience in creating and presenting persuasive presentations.
- Well-organised with strong planning skills in a cross-functional environment.
- Skilled negotiator with external partners to achieve cost-effective results.
- Experienced in budget planning and management, including forecasting, vendor negotiations, and budget oversight.
