The Opportunity

Prospection is seeking a Principal Client Solutions, ANZ to lead client engagement, revenue growth, and solution delivery across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a hands-on, mid-senior role suited for individuals who are comfortable owning client outcomes while remaining actively involved in problem-solving and delivery execution.

The role will work closely with Prospection’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) in India, translating client needs into clear analytical requirements and ensuring high-quality delivery.

This position is ideal for someone who is commercially minded, analytical, and comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities:


Sales & Account Management (≈50%)

  • Own and grow a portfolio of ANZ clients across pharma, biotech, and healthcare organisations
  • Lead new business development efforts, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and deal closure
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders
  • Manage expectations, scope, and commercial outcomes across long-term client engagements
  • Act as the primary point of accountability for client satisfaction and retention

Solutioning & Delivery Leadership (≈50%)

  • Own client outcomes end-to-end, from problem definition through to insight delivery
  • Lead solution design in response to client problems, combining business context, healthcare knowledge, and analytics
  • Comfortable getting hands-on with data where required (e.g. SQL querying) to investigate client questions, validate outputs, and support analysis

  • Support and guide offshore analytics teams to improve context understanding, quality of outputs, and delivery efficiency
  • Translate analytical outputs into clear, structured insights and narratives, and present these effectively to client stakeholders
  • Continuously improve delivery processes to enhance scalability, efficiency, and consistency

To be successful in this role you will have:

Experience & Background

  • 5–7 years of professional experience, ideally within analytics or data-driven roles
  • Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets, preferably in healthcare (e.g. claims, prescription, hospital, or other real-world data)
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, including sales, account management, consulting, or solution delivery

  • Commercial acumen — comfortable discussing value, pricing, and ROI with clients
  • Ability to quickly learn business nuances and adapt communication style accordingly

  • Confident working across geographies and cultures, particularly with offshore delivery teams
  • Demonstrated the ability to leverage AI and other modern analytical approaches to improve workflows and client outcomes
