The Opportunity
Join an elite Rewards (Shares) team at the heart of a global technology group! As an LTI Operations Officer, you’ll be instrumental in managing and administering our Long-Term Incentive (LTI)programmes that recognize, reward, and retain world-class talent across South Africa and globally.
This is not a routine administrative role. You’ll be entrusted with end-to-end execution of share-based incentives, from resolving participant queries across multiple countries to coordinating payments, tracking investing events, supporting audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Your meticulous attention to detail and financial acumen will directly shape the employee experience and the governance of a listed, multinational group.
In this high-exposure role, you’ll collaborate with HR, Finance, Audit, and leadership teams to strengthen transparency and accountability, while driving continuous improvements in LTI operations. It’s an opportunity to play a strategic role in reward management within one of the most innovative and globally impactful investment groups. This role will start as a 2 year fixed contract.
In This Role You Will
- Be the first point of contact for local and international participants on share-based incentive queries.
- Manage LTI exercises, including participant instructions, payment schedules, and communication with payroll and trustees.
- Track offer acceptances, cancellations, and terminations, ensuring accurate records.
- Administer the RSU vesting process, verifying trade instructions and ensuring timely execution.
- Provide management reporting in support of financial statements, audits, and compliance reviews.
- Maintain databases with up-to-date participant information, share prices, and exchange rates.
- Perform share reconciliations and transfers to ensure accuracy and governance.Support ongoing LTI allocations and partner on ad hoc improvement projects.
- Collaborate across HR, Finance, and Audit functions to enable a best-in-class employee reward experience.
Who You Are & What You Bring
You are detail-driven, analytical, and passionate about precision in financial and reward processes. You thrive in high-performance environments where deadlines matter and confidentiality is key.
- Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping.2–3 years’ experience in finance, audit, or related operational roles.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills (advanced proficiency required).
- Exposure to share schemes, equity plans, or LTI administration is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong affinity for numbers, and analytical ability.
- Ability to manage pressure, adapt to change, and maintain the highest standards of professionalism and trust.
