Your new role
As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will lead financial and budget analysis, delivering forward-looking insights to support decision-making across the business. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with leaders & stakeholders across NZ and the Pacific to provide financial leadership and commercial insights.
- Driving and managing budgets and operational financial processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Producing timely and insightful management information, including complex financial performance analysis, recommendations, and visualisations.
- Navigating ambiguity, challenging assumptions, and supporting senior leaders with strategic financial decision-making.
- Leveraging tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Office to present financial insights effectively.
- This role does not have direct reports but requires a senior, driven finance SME who can manage and drive business processes, with continuous improvement and efficiency mindset.

About you
You will be:
- CA, CPA, or CIMA-qualified professional with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Understanding of full P&L and main profitability metrics.
- Solid experience in management reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and deliver insights.
- Comfortable with ambiguity, with a curious mindset to understand the business and challenge the status quo.
- An effective communicator, able to engage with diverse senior stakeholders and navigate complex business landscapes.
- Insurance industry experience is highly desirable
