The opportunity
- We are looking to replace our wonderful Corporate Receptionist & Assistant Administrator.

- We are based in Auckland’s CBD, close to the transport and shopping hubs!
Your new role
With a wide range of duties from receptionist to office management, you will be providing administration support to both the Auckland and Regional offices as well as the General Manager, Technology & Delivery and you will be reporting to the EA to the CEO. Some of the things you will be responsible for are:
- Manage our Head Office reception including answering calls and greeting customers both internal and external.
- Supporting the onboarding for new starters.
- Maintain inventory levels for all office supplies and kitchen consumables.
- Co-ordinator of the Auckland office facilities, ensuring the offices are well maintained and liaising with key suppliers and contractors while ensuring agreed on standards are maintained.
- Ad hoc requirements for staff events and special requests as co-ordinated through the EA.

About you
You enjoy working with people and are a self-starter, happy to get in and do what’s required to ensure everything runs smoothly, as the QBE team really rely on you. While previous experience in a similar role will be preferable, you will demonstrate:
- The ability to take ownership and be responsible for the management of the Auckland office.
- An independent proactive approach to work.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Natural organisation skills, who is be dependable, reliable, and willing to go the ‘extra mile’ at a moment’s notice.
- Confidence and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
