The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to step into a Service Manager role within our established motor claims team, supporting the Elders partnership. As a Service Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving team performance, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring outstanding service delivery every step of the way.
Your new role
Lead and support daily operations, guiding the team on claims handling, policy interpretation, and quality assurance.
Drive continuous improvement by developing efficient processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
Contribute to business planning and support the delivery of strategic objectives through innovation and collaboration.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while managing complaints and supporting investigations when needed.
Oversee claims decisions, including setting reserves and authorising payments within your authority.
Mentor and coach team members, sharing technical expertise to support their growth and development.
About you
A minimum of 4 years’ experience within a leadership role
Experience within motor claims is highly regarded but not essential
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer-first mindset
A strong understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to service excellence
The ability to navigate and work across multiple systems with ease
