The purpose of this role is to serve as a technical claims lead on QBE's growing Cyber claims team. We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our global Cyber Operations team. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Cyber Operations, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating cross-functional initiatives, driving process improvement, and ensuring operational consistency across regions. This role is critical in supporting the implementation of business strategies and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Location: New York City, NY , Atlanta, GA, Or Los Angeles, CA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days a week in the office)
The salary range for this role is varies depending on location:
Atlanta, GA $104,000 -$156,000
Los Angeles, CA - $114,500 - $171,500
New York City, NY - $130,000 - $195,000
Your new role
Support Management in implementing business strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop, maintain, and enhance operational standards to deliver best practice and global consistency.
Manage delivery of services to agreed timescales, quality, and budget.
Drive streamlined team operations by developing and executing operations standards and procedures.
Monitor and measure service delivery and performance to identify and address areas of risk.
Anticipate and proactively manage resolution of operational issues.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement solutions and drive ownership of change.
Develop, deliver, and maintain the appropriate support process, management controls, and reporting as required.
Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet the defined objectives and deliverables.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
About you
Previous experience in operations, transformation or program delivery.
Proven expertise in program/project management, process reengineering and implementation.
A continuous improvement mindset.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across global teams.
Experience in communications and change management.
Familiarity with risk and governance frameworks.
Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
