Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeThe purpose of this role is to support the specialist People function by contributing to the development and implementation of policies, programs, and practices. This includes mentoring new hires, providing process initiatives, and administering various People employee programs to meet organisational needs. Additionally, the role involves daily activities within People Service Delivery, covering compensations, benefits, payroll, People admin, and other related tasks to support the organisation's business requirements.Responsibilities:
- Execute operational objectives for the specialist People function.
- Deliver quality, timely and accurate resolution following the set SLA – Service Level Agreement.
- Support the implementation of the specialist People function strategy and operational initiatives.
- Contribute to the development, streamlining, and implementation of policies, processes, and procedures to meet business needs.
- Provide interpretation and advice to the business regarding policies, processes, and procedures.
- Research and analyse issues based on market information and contribute to the development of recommendations to resolve business issues.
- Build advanced knowledge of current legislation, market trends, future direction, and best practices relevant to the specialist People function.
- Assist in driving improvements to People policies, practices, and processes across sites, considering cultural differences.
- Manage the security and maintenance of People personnel files to ensure compliance and readiness for regulatory inspection.
- Provide support to employees for complex People-related transactions and resolve related issues promptly.
Work Experience:
Necessary Work Experience includes:
- Some relevant work experience.
Preferred Work Experience includes:
- Call centre experience in insurance and/or banking industry with billing responsibilities.
- Increasing level of responsibility in call centre environment.
- Policy administration experience.
- Experience in BPO industry with shifting schedules.
Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
