Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeThe Software Engineer designs, codes, tests, corrects, and documents complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications and subsequent iterations, using agreed standards and tools. Collaborates in reviews of specifications, with others as appropriate. S/he should be well versed in the out of the box features and custom capabilities of Microsoft Power Platform including PowerApps, Power Automate, and PowerBI to deliver and actively contribute in planning, enhancing and implementing Power Platform Apps and workflows.Primary Responsibilities
This person should be able to:
- demonstrate excellence technically and professionally in areas related to development and/or support of power platform tools
- work independently on moderate to complex enhancements or solutions
- resolve moderate to complex issues and
- identify and suggest best approach to achieve business goals
- Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises, ensuring adherence to Disaster Recovery Policy, and maintaining Disaster Recovery Technical Recovery Plans (TRPs)
- work flexibly on shifts, as schedules may change based on team or client requirements
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Required Experience
3-4 years relevant Development and support experience
Required Skills and Experience
- Power Apps, Power Automate, and/or Power BI
- Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound knowledge in SDLC and Service Management tools (ex. ServiceNow)
- Experience in Application development, design and integration
- Analytical/Problem Solving – able to discover problems and issues before they occur; thinks logically to resolve complex issues
- Self-Driven – responds to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency and pace
Desirable Skills
- Copilot Studio, Power Pages, PowerBI reports
- Agile Methodology
