The opportunity
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Client Relationship Lead to join the Client Partnerships team in Perth. Reporting to the Head of Client, Distribution you will be responsible for leading the People Risk Client Relationship team. You will be accountable for the strategy for Key Account People Risk clients, including retention and uncovering opportunities for growth.

Your new role
As Client Relationship Leader you will be the voice of the client in our business and will work across different business units to bring the best of QBE to client’s programs.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Lead and develop a small, high-performing team of Client Relationship Managers
- Build strong, trusted relationships with major clients and brokers.
- Develop and execute the People Risk Client retention & new business strategy
- Collaborate closely with underwriting, claims and other teams to facilitate delivery of client strategy.
- Actively promote the People Risk value proposition in market
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in the insurance industry, with a working knowledge of Underwriting and Distribution. You will also have;
- Strong market presence and knowledge of People Risk/Workers Compensation
- Experience in client relationship management with large or complex clients
- Previous team leadership experience, with a coaching and development mindset
- Commercially astute, client-focused and confident engaging senior stakeholders
- Salesforce experience preferred
