The Opportunity

As a Claims Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional claims experience. You’ll triage and register new claims for the team in addition to managing your own liability portfolio. You’ll have the opportunity to assess policy coverage, investigate claims, and negotiate resolutions with empathy and professionalism.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the National Claims Manager – Long Tail, you’ll manage a commercial liability portfolio. You’ll join a supportive, collaborative team environment where people genuinely enjoy working together to get things done.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Triaging and registering claims for the long tail team, which will provide exposure to our vast liability and financial lines books of business.
  • Proactively managing your own portfolio of general liability claims through to resolution.
  • Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders through clear communication and a values-led approach.
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce claims costs and leakage, while promoting a strong risk management culture.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse and negotiate.
  • Ability to problem solve, influence and resolve conflict.
