The Opportunity
QBE Europe is recruiting a Cloud Practice Lead to join our well-established Technology Services function, based in London, Leeds or Chelmsford office. The EO Cloud Practice Lead is responsible for ensuring the cloud strategy and standards are adhered to across the EO division. The role focuses on enabling EO to gain maximum value from cloud services by establishing clear direction, consistent best practice, and effective engagement with projects, programmes, and stakeholders.
This role is not a hands-on engineering role. Instead, the postholder is expected to be technically well informed on Microsoft Azure, and good understanding of other cloud technologies. The role-holder should have the ability to translate cloud concepts into practical guidance that supports business outcomes.
Having the right to work in the UK is a requirement for this role. QBE may consider sponsorship at its discretion.
