This role combines tactical sourcing execution with strategic advisory capabilities by leveraging market insights, talent mapping, and proactive engagement to attract top talent. The individual will partner closely with recruiters and hiring leaders to drive efficient, data-informed recruitment processes while strengthening pipeline health across priority skill sets.

Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
The salary range for this role is: $65,000 - $97,000
Your new role:
Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development
Execute targeted sourcing strategies to generate qualified candidate pipelines aligned to hiring priorities
Proactively build and maintain talent pools for critical roles, including niche and hard-to-fill positions
Apply sourcing expertise to refine applicant pools and ensure candidate alignment to role and business needs
Conduct market mapping across competitors, adjacent industries, and emerging talent segments
Sourcing Strategy Execution
Support the management and optimization of sourcing channels to maximize effectiveness and return on investment
Identify and leverage a mix of sourcing approaches (e.g., direct sourcing, referrals, networking, and niche platforms)
Research and recommend alternative sourcing methods to improve talent acquisition outcomes
Contribute to continuous improvement of sourcing strategies, tools, and processes
Candidate Engagement & Experience
Serve as a key point of contact for candidates, providing transparency on the hiring process and fostering engagement
Deliver a high-quality candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding support
Maintain ongoing relationships with prospective candidates to build long-term talent pipelines
Represent and promote QBE’s employer brand through all candidate interactions
Stakeholder Partnership & Delivery
Collaborate with recruiters to proactively manage recruitment activity and pipeline health
Support recruitment processes by sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates
Provide regular updates on sourcing progress, candidate engagement, and pipeline quality
Align sourcing efforts with broader hiring strategies, timelines, and business priorities
Market Intelligence & Continuous Improvement
Leverage market insights and talent data to inform sourcing strategies and improve hiring outcomes
Support intake and calibration discussions with insights on talent availability and market dynamics
Identify opportunities to enhance sourcing effectiveness, including process improvements and innovation
Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices in talent sourcing and recruitment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in talent sourcing, recruiting or talent intelligence
Experience sourcing for complex or niche skill sets (underwriting, data science, actuarial, risk management, or executive role)
Demonstrated ability to build passive talent pipelines and engage candidates
Strong research and analytical skills with experience in talent mapping and market analysis
Experience working in or supporting insurance or financial services is highly preferred
Experience working with Workday highly preferred
Preferred Skills:
Ability to translate business needs into targeted sourcing strategies
Strong understanding of talent landscapes, competitor dynamics, and hiring trends
Confidence working with senior leaders and challenging assumptions with data
Ability to craft compelling outreach and build relationships with passive talent
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
Comfortable using data to inform decisions and measure success
Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate’s professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
