Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeAs the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects within our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects. Your role will involve coordinating resources, managing risks, and driving project performance to achieve desired outcomes.Primary Responsibilities • Define project objectives, deliverables, and scope in collaboration with stakeholders. •Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, considering resource allocation and constraints. •Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and impact analyses to ensure project viability. •Coordinate and lead project teams, assigning tasks, and providing clear directions. •Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, milestones, and quality standards. •Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and conflicts in a timely and proactive manner. •Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and senior management. •Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project deliverables are met. •Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their involvement and engagement throughout the project lifecycle. •Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, managing their expectations and addressing concerns. •Identify project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and establish contingency plans. •Proactively manage changes in project scope, timeline, and objectives, ensuring appropriate communication and documentation. •Evaluate and assess project outcomes, identifying lessons learned and implementing process improvements. •Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring costs and expenses throughout the project. •Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, tracking project financial performance against planned budgets. •Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure effective cost control and vendor management. •Implement and enforce project management methodologies, processes, and best practices. •Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. •Maintain project documentation, including project charters, plans, status reports, and other relevant artifacts. Required Education • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience Required Experience • 5 years relevant experience Preferred Competencies/Skills • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. •Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams. •Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. •Solid organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. •Proficient in project management software and tools. •Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels •Proficient in preparing project documentation, such as project charters, requirements documents, and status reports, in line with the industry standards. •Ability to manage and mitigate change-related challenges in insurance projects, such as organizational resistance and process adaptation Preferred Education • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience Preferred Experience • 5+ years in project management or similar role within the insurance industry, preferred •Proven experience as a Project Manager, successfully delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline. •Broad financial services experience with strong understanding of insurance processes and technology in a global context. •Experienced in stakeholder management, specifically at senior executive level •Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies, and the ability to adapt to different methodologies depending on the needs of the program/project •Experience in managing risk and implementing risk mitigation strategies •Experience in driving process improvements and efficiencies across programs/projects •Experience in managing vendor relationships and delivering programs/projects with vendor support •Experience in technology implementations, software development life cycle, and infrastructure projects Preferred Licenses/Certifications • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum, PMI - ACP) are desirable. Preferred Knowledge • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science). •Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Scrum, PMI - ACP) are desirable. •Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources •Advanced knowledge of project management principles, techniques and best practices •Understanding of change management principles and methodologies. •Understanding of insurance project financials and project cost control.
