Your new role

You will support Head of Business Continuity and Resilience in the design and continuous improvement of business continuity and operational resilience practices, working closely with leaders across the organisation. A key part of your role will be facilitating discussions, leading exercises, and confidently guiding stakeholders through complex disruption scenarios to ensure the business is prepared and resilient.

  • Partner with business leaders to coordinate and deliver the business continuity management (BCM) lifecycle, including impact assessments, plan reviews, and testing

  • Develop and maintain business continuity plans and recovery strategies

  • Facilitate critical operation assessment and define impact tolerances with stakeholders

  • Design and lead scenario testing, training and simulation exercises, confidently facilitating sessions and guiding decision-making

  • Provide trusted advisory support during incidents and contribute to post-incident reviews

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess third-party resilience and strengthen contingency planning

About you

You are a pragmatic and credible business partner with experience in business continuity, resilience, or risk. You build strong relationships with stakeholders, confidently lead conversations and workshops, and translate complex requirements into practical solutions. You enjoy working collaboratively and bring a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Proven experience in business continuity, operational resilience, or risk management, including understanding of crisis management and BCM frameworks or standards (e.g. ISO 22301) and CPS230

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail

  • Experience developing business continuity plans and recovery strategies

  • Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to lead workshops, exercises, or simulations

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior leaders

  • Experience in regulated environments (financial services advantageous)
