As an Implementation Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal part in supporting new client mandates, improving analytical capabilities, uplifting processes and enabling the team to scale with confidence.
Reporting to the Head of Development & Integration, this is an opportunity to work directly with portfolio managers, implementation specialists, performance, operations and technology teams to deliver meaningful impact across the organisation.
About the Role
The Implementation Analyst supports the delivery, integration and ongoing management of new client mandates, overlay solutions and client requests. You’ll coordinate data inputs and analytical outputs across LMG, ensuring accuracy, scalability and operational excellence.
You will be instrumental in building a newly formed capability designed to:
Support portfolio managers and the broader team.
Support new trades, new instruments and specialist mandates.
Improve efficiency, expand services and uplift analytical tools and automation.
This is a hands-on, growth-focused role ideal for analytically minded early career professionals who enjoy solving problems, building better systems and collaborating across multiple teams.

You bring strong analytical capability, attention to detail and an interest in financial markets, data, and investment operations. You enjoy variety — from data preparation and analysis to workflow design and process improvement.

Skills in Python, SQL, VBA or automation tools will help you thrive, and an interest in improving processes or exploring new technologies is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Client Support
Support delivery of new client mandates, investment strategies and overlay solutions through high-quality data preparation, validation and analysis.
Assist with client queries by coordinating data and analytical outputs across LMG.
Support smooth transition of new mandates into BAU with accurate documentation and handover.
Data & Analytics
Produce accurate analytics, reporting and dashboards to support internal decision-making and client outcomes.
Act as a central coordination point for LMG data requests, ensuring accuracy and governance.
Enhance analytics capability through improved tools, templates and automation.
Process Improvement & Scalability
Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, reduce manual effort and strengthen controls.
Support development of new processes and contribute to documentation, data standards and control uplift.
Help design and reconfigure workflows to support growth in mandates and trading activity.
Governance & Risk
Uphold strong data governance and accuracy in all client-facing outputs.
Support identification and mitigation of implementation risks.
Key Criteria (Essential)
Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Mathematics or similar.
Strong analytical capability and high attention to detail.
Experience or exposure to data analysis, reporting or analytics (graduate or early career level).
Strong Excel ability; exposure to Power BI or other visualisation tools desirable.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Criteria
Experience or exposure to funds management, superannuation, performance analytics, operations or institutional investment environments.
Experience with Python, SQL, VBA or similar programming/automation tools.
Demonstrated interest in workflow automation, process efficiency or technology-enabled solutions.
Familiarity with quantitative analysis concepts.
