Role Description:
We’re looking for an experienced SEO Content Team Lead to drive our platform’s SEO strategy to the next level.
As the team leader, you will be managing a team of content writers, guiding them in creating high-quality, SEO-optimized content that aligns with our business goals. Your responsibilities include overseeing the SEO content strategy to enhance organic search performance and utilizing strong analytical skills for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in content management, team leadership, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications/Criteria for a new hire:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing a team with a record of growing SEO
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Deep understanding of on-page and technical SEO and is comfortable working in cross-functional teams in a fast-growing environment
  • Strong hands-on experience in content writing and SEO strategy management
  • Highly analytical and capable of extracting valuable insights from data to drive continuous improvements and optimization
  • Able to conduct strategic planning with key leaders and stakeholders
  • Strong project management execution skills - experience working with or leading teams on complex projects with deadlines
  • A confident leader and communicator with the team and key stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Hands-on experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Amplitude, Google Search Console, AHREFS)
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress EditorKnowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
  • Able to present and communicate ideas and insights in a wider and international group

Responsibilities and Daily Tasks

  • People management: Mentor, train, and support team members to deliver team goals, create actionable plans and individual OKRs
  • Provide direction and task assignments for team members and monitor pacing every week
  • Plan, identify, and create a successful content SEO strategy to uncover new keyword opportunities and continue process improvement
  • Lead framework sessions and ensure the quality of written content
  • Drive content and keyword strategy and produce insights for continuous improvement of content articles and writers
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of content pages, devise plans for optimization, and communicate output with leaders
  • Provide insights on performance and opportunities for improvement across the team
  • Help publish the page through WordPress and update important trackersPerform ad hoc tasks and other initiatives
  • Conduct experiments and A/B tests if needed
  • Staying on top of SEO best practices, guidelines, objectives, and documented regulations
