THE ROLE

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to spearhead sales growth across the breath of Shippit’s fullfillment, logistics and fleet management solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring and developing new business opportunities with companies including retailers, couriers, and third-party logistics providers. By leveraging your expertise in B2B sales, you will drive NowGo’s market expansion, build strategic relationships, and contribute to Shippit’s long-term success.

DAY TO DAY

  • Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring a strong and sustainable pipeline.
  • Identify and convert businesses in need of fleet management solutions, increasing Shippit’s presence across key industries.
  • Consult with logistics, operations, and fleet managers to understand their challenges and position Shippit as a strategic solution.
  • Lead commercial discussions, craft compelling proposals, and secure long-term contracts with prospective clients.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to refine go-to-market strategies and customer engagement.
  • Stay up to date with logistics and fleet management trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting through CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas, driving revenue growth.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience: Proven B2B sales experience as an Account Executive in the order fulfilment/management, logistics, WMS or ERP space.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the retail and eCommerce industry, including logistics and fulfillment challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities, with a focus on value-driven sales and differentiation.
  • Team Collaboration: A collaborative and proactive team player with a positive attitude.
  • Complex Sales Management: Experience navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and processes efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce CRM.
